TO ALL WHO COME TO THIS HAPPY PLACE...
WELCOME!
WELCOME!
NAME: Kirby[/size]
FILM: Chicken Little
AGE: Toddler
GENDER: Male
HEIGHT: About a foot tall, give or take.HAIRFUR COLOR: A perfect shade of orange
EYE COLOR: Light, sky blue
PHYSICAL STATURE Kirby is quite small for his species and rather fluffy.
OVERALL APPEARANCE: For his race, Kirby is quite the norm, though he's obviously very different than species found here on Earth. About a quarter of an adult alien's size, Kirby is undeniably small. As his mother had yellow fur and his father had red, his own fur is bright orange. His body looks similar to a flame of a match, with the top of his fur wisping upward. Kirby's eyes are quite odd, as at times he can make the bottom two dissapear from sight completely and look as if he were a cyclops. However, usually he has all three eyes out at they take the position of a triangle on his face, though he can rotate them in a clockwise or counter-clockwise manner.
He has four limbs which seem to sprout from under his main body, though the front appendages can be used as hands and arms easily. Though the rest of his fur is a light orange, his arms are banded with rings of darker fur, like his parents' arms. This seems to be an odd trait, as none of the other aliens have this pattern. Kirby's arms also seem to be very flexible at times, as he can wrap them around something in a manner similar to tying a rope around a pole.
LIKES:
-Exploring/Traveling
-Making up words

DISLIKES:
-The chime of a bell, big or small
-Loud, startling noises
-Being alone
-The dark
-Others not understanding his way of speaking
-His parents becomming worried about him.
-The movie based of Chicken Little's encounters with the aliens, where his race are protrayed to be villainous.
STRONG POINTS: Kirby is quite honest and truthfull. He has a good heart and is easily able to open up to others.
FLAWS: Being so compassionate and loving of course has it's downfalls. He can be overly trusting and naive, usually not able to tell the difference between "good" and "bad" people. Since Kirby has an adventerous nature, he often leaves his family worried sick about him- which can end up being dangerous in the end.
PERSONALITY: Kirby is full of compassion and has an endless capacity for love, most likely because of his very caring family (although they overreact to extreme measures at times). He doesn't exactly see negative differences in people, but rather the positive uniqueness of others and just about always attempts to make friends with them. The alien is very adventurous and this often leads to trouble, either for himself or others. Kirby is usually thought of as "hyperactive" because of his nearly nonstop babbling (sometimes in English, sometimes in his native language, and most often times in nonsensical gibberish) and constant running around.
Like any child, alien or not, he is easily scared when not with family or friends. Loud noises frighten him, though not more than being alone in darkness, and the sound of a chiming bell is unbearable for him and his species. He doesn't exactly seem to take things seriously most of the time, most likely because he doesn't know their importantce. At the same time, Kirby shows impeccable intelligence and an understanding for how things work.
DREAMS: One day, Kirby would love to return to Earth and reunite with his friends in Oakey Oaks- probably when they go to visit his mother's relatives. He also hopes that his parents wouldn't be so worrisome over him, though he loves them all the same. After learning about the Earth sport "baseball", he has taken a liking to this and would like to play it like Chicken Little has. Finnaly, like all little kids, he hopes not to be small like this forever! x3
HISTORY: Though their true significance was unclear, Kirby's parents, Melvin and Tina were very important people on their home planet. The entire Galactic Armada answered to their every whim and protected Kirby at all costs- his parents presumably rulers of some sort and Kirby their future heir. It seems that Kirby allready has the same authority as his parents do at times, however.
The planet Kirby was originally from was most likely far from Earth. He travels with his parents to other planets in their spaceship, as they always visit the town of Oakey Oaks for acorns every year while on their way to visit Melvin's in-laws. However, when they landed in Oakey Oaks again, Chicken Little and his friends snuck aboard the ship and un-knowingly woke Kirby up. His curious nature getting the better of him, he followed them, though they had no idea. His parents, upon finding that their son was missing panicked and assumed that Chicken Little and his friends had kidnapped him.
They quickly chased after them, but were unable to pursue the chase because Chicken Little rang the alarm bell to get the town's attention. The ringing gave such a headache to both Kirby's parents and himself (though his parents had no idea he had run off on his own free will and was nearby) that Kirby dug underneath the ground to avoid the noise. His parents had to retreat when they saw the townspeople coming and went back to their ship. Kirby was left behind unfortunetly, and soon met Chicken Little and they learned the truth.
When Kirby was returned to his parents, he also explained to Melvin and Tina that it was all a big misunderstanding. His parents, quite embarassed of their overprotective reactions and how they jumped to conclusions, apologized to the townspeople. Kirby was delighted to see his parents again and they took off again in their spaceship.
ROLEPLAYING SAMPLE:{As BURN-E on a Disney site.}
This place was enormous! Well, not nearly as big as the Axiom- or even the Lido Deck aboard it. Still, BURN-E was quite amazed. There were hundreds of books stacked in the shelves, making BURN-E think that this was certaintly from a time long ago. On the Axiom people had computers to store all this data, and even if there were books they were holographic and didn't have any pages. He looked down at the ground, noticing he had tracked some dirt in with his wheel. A small "Eeep!" escaped him at the thought of being scolded by one of the cleaning bots for this.
BURN-E picked up one of the books with his pincer-like hand, setting it down on the ground as he sat to look at it. Having only one hand made looking at the book a bit more difficult than it would be for somebody with two (as his other hand was a blowtorch). It was even more strange for him to turn the pages, as his hand wasn't made for touching delicate and thin papers- he was created for work and repairs. Still, this didn't deter him from glancing at the pictures in the book- as he wasn't really what you might call a "reader".
He tilted his head to the side a bit at the illustration of a beautifull woman, presumably a princess, trapped in a tall tower- though she had impossibly long flowing hair hanging over the side of the window. Skipping a few pages, he seen the same woman in a passionate embrace with a charming man, most likely a prince, and sharing a kiss. The words above the picture said "True Love's Kiss". "Huh?" BURN-E questioned no one in particular. He didn't really know what this emotion of "love" was, only that humans were supposed to feel it sometimes. He had never felt it before, anyway.
Not that he was supposed to. None of the robots aboard the Axiom were. But after hundreds of years aboard the Axiom, doing the same thing day after day, some robots did begin to develop feelings. However, none of them wanted to admit it. BURN-E, himself, didn't want to initially because he was afraid of being reported as "malfunctioning" and be sent to the Repair Ward. Though after everyone had landed on Earth- emotions hadn't been seen as such a bad thing anymore, much to BURN-E's relief.
The maintenance robot picked up the book and carefully set it back on the shelf. Humans were funny creatures sometimes. "True Love's Kiss." What did that mean anyway?
